"As an avid boat builder and restorer with a [penchant] for building really wild and crazy outboard motors I was impressed with the quality and price of the Jetcraft Falcon.
The only thing standing in my way was finding a dealership that wasn't going out of business any time soon. When I got off the phone with Mark the first time I knew I had found the right dealer.
I wrote a check with total confidence the day I met Mark and Beau and saw how they ran their business. Trust me folks, I've been to a lot of boat dealers and bought a lot of boats and Gone Fishin Marine is NOT typical.
As for the boat, it's everything I expected it to be. I've been welding TIG and MIG for several years now and I can look at a welded boat and tell if the welders knew what they were dong or not. My Jetcraft Falcon is an entry level boat but they still put a lot of care into using the correct welding processes where they need to be. I have no doubt it will last for many years. If something happens, it is constructed of good quality 5000 series aluminum and can be repaired easily. If you're thinking about buying an Aluminum boat keep the preceeding sentence in mind. It could save you a lot of money in the future.
Would I buy another boat from Gone Fishin Marine... Without hesitation. Would I recommend others .. You bet!

"My husband and I have been looking for a heavy gauge aluminum boat (Jetcraft). We have visited Gone FIshin' several times trying to decide exactly what we want/need. Everyone at the dealership is friendly and helpful. In particular, Luke Peacock has been wonderful in assisting us throughout this process. He is knowledgable and obviously enjoys his work. He is making this process so much fun! In addition to their large selection of boats, they also have a huge tackle shop. We have spent several hours walking the isles shopping for everything from fishing tackle to electronics. I would tell anyone looking for a boat or fishing/boating supplies to go to Gone Fishin'."

"We spent hours at the Sportsmen Expo looking at boats but kept coming back to Gone Fishin's boats. The boats were reasonably priced but it was the people that we were drawn to. Mark, Beau, Gary (the Jet Craft rep from Canada) and Marks' friend were all great! We put money down with the knowledge we could back out if we wanted. The next week we went to Gone Fishin' and we were treated with respect and kindness. Our son was hungry so Beau gave him part of his lunch. Mark was concerned about our son so he picked out a really nice life jacket for him and gave it to him. He did a number of nice things for us that he didn't have to...we had already signed the papers. This is a top notch dealership and recommend them to everyone."

"This is an excellent place to service your boat. I purchased a 97 nitro, from a private party, that had several issues and Gone Fishin Marine came through every single time. They were prompt with a very educated staff. They took the time to explain the problems and fixed them in a timely manner. In addition to their excellent service, they followed up with me just a couple days after I told them I would be taking my boat out. I have taken my boat elsewhere, much closer to where I live but the service and knowledge of the other service departmentts were either horrible (BPS) or just okay!! I drive 50 miles to have my boat serviced at GF Marine and I would drive 50 more, if I had to. This establishment is run intelligently and is very customer service orientated (Thanks to Mark) and I would recommend using GF Marine for all your boating needs. Thanks again!!"

"I purchased a 17' Jetcraft Adventurer a few weeks ago from Gone Fishing. What a great experience, no pressure, answered our questions until we made a decision. The Sales, Parts, Finance, and Service Staff are great. The owner Mark and his wife treated us like family. On extras and changes they advised us on what was best for us with no regard for just a sale. I believe I have gained new friends and would strongly recommend Gone Fishing if you are interested in a boat or service. You won't be disappointed."

"I have a 97 Astro/Procraft bass boat and the motor would just 'quit' at random times (it wasn't blown; it would just cut off without warning at/near idle or WOT, totally random). I was going to take it to my bass club's usual/local place in Santa Rosa but they couldn't even take it in for a couple+ weeks at the time so I searched online and found GFM. What a great experience. They said to bring it right in, despite how busy they were (this was mid Summer). Mike Rowe, Service Manager, kept me posted via email and always returned any calls as well---that guy just plain TALKS to his customers, which is sometimes hard to find in the service industry. This problem was tricky, but in the end Mike spent some of his own time to take it out on the water himself to confirm that the problem was fixed in the end. I have to drive quite a ways from the SF area, and when I bring my boat to Mike's team at GFM for annual maintenance or any other reason, I feel confident that things will always be done right. They have an entire wall filled with factory certs for Mike and his crew, so the confidence level is high. The rates are right there with the 'other' place I've gone to, and the service/communications is in my opinion a notch above. Definitely a first rate, top notch place----check them out if you haven't had a chance."

"As an out of State buyer( even out of Country) I could not have been more pleased with the service from Mark Blanton at GF marine!. I bought a used boat site unseen and Mark reassured me that all was great. I had the boat delivered and everything that Mark arranged went off without a hitch. Upon getting the boat back to Canada I had a few small issues that needed to deal. Mark stepped up and tried to do all that he could. Even now, GF Marine is trying to help me with a power steering issue( I can still operate my boat!) that the dealer here is unable to help with. They may just save me a 10 hr drive to a service center and that is to an out of country customer. That is CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!"

"My personal best to date: 11lbz 1 oz caught on board the Team GFMarine Z9CDC!!
After the fish was landed, I took advantage of the front 22 gallon live well which was prepped with Rejuvenade and started the fish on the road to recovery from the effects of the fight. I believe this feature of the Z9CDC has been instrumental in protecting a lot of fish that were photo worthy.

"The overall experience was 5 Star, from sales, service, tackle shop,all were profesional, courteous and so darn polite. It was nice to find a dealership with the follow up post sales, discount specials, holiday greetings and a the part of the family atmosphere. I would send them referal business with no hesitation. I bought a 2007 19 1/2ft Pro-V, Bass catching machine. I learned that my boat was made in my home state of Minnasota. The ergonomocs of the boat is by far superior to other brands for myself as a person with physical disabilities. My SFFD Fire Captain John took me on his Lund Bass boat and I had to buy same after a year. Thanks to all at GF Marine for your attention to make my purchase experience A 5 STAR one.
