Watercraft Decontaminations - Lake Berryessa, Folsom Lake, and Lake Clementine
Any vessel wishing to launch at Lake Berryessa, Folsom Lake, or lake Clementine sooner than the required 30-day quarantine period must have a hot-water decontamination performed. These vessels are allowed to launch immediately following decontamination.
Please note that a boater cannot go back and forth between Lake Berryessa and Folsom Lake / Lake Clementine after having a decontamination. If you have either been tagged and waited the 30 day quarantine period, or your vessel has undergone a decontamination, you may launch at one lake only. If you wish to launch at a separate lake, you must quarantine or ungergo a decontamination again.
All decontaminations are by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, use the calendar on this page.
To ensure your decontamination appointment goes smoothly, please bring your boat clean, drained, and dry to reduce appointment time and cost.
All watercraft arriving for decontamination must be able to run, so please ensure your boat / jetski has fuel and / or charged batteries.
